The short version: your chats are private, your email is never shown to other members, and you can delete everything from your Account page whenever you want.
V-Companions (v-companions.com) is a virtual companion and social app. You can chat with AI companions, send messages and photos to other members, buy coins, and personalize your experience.
This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have. It was last updated in October 2026.
Account information: your email address, display name (username), and an optional short bio you write yourself.
Content you create: chat messages with companions and other members, photos you send, and voice recordings you make in the app.
Purchase information: your coin balance and transaction receipts. Card payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Usage information: basic technical data needed to run the app, such as whether you are signed in and when you were last active.
To run your account, keep your coin balance and receipts accurate, and deliver your messages.
To let companions remember details you share with them so conversations feel continuous.
To process purchases and prevent fraud.
To respond when you contact support.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your private messages for advertising.
Companions are AI characters, not real people. Messages you send to a companion are processed by an AI service to generate replies, photos, voice notes and videos.
Please don't share sensitive personal details (like financial account numbers or government IDs) in chats.
Your chats with companions and with other members are private. Other members cannot read your messages, and your email address is never shown to other members.
We use a small number of service providers to operate the app: cloud hosting and database services, payments (Stripe), and AI generation. They only receive the data needed to provide their service.
You can edit your display name and bio any time on your Account page.
You can delete your account and all associated data from the Account page — see below.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (access, correction, portability). Contact us and we'll help.
You can delete your account yourself: sign in, open Account, and use the Delete account section at the bottom. This permanently removes your profile, messages, photos, receipts and companion memories.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. Any remaining coins are forfeited.
You can also ask us to delete your account by contacting support through the Help & Support form in the app.
We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and row-level access controls, so members can only ever read their own data.
V-Companions is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and note the date above.
